A little tour of the roses in my garden 🌹

From spring until the end of summer, roses fill my garden with colour. Here’s a little tour of some of them.

So many colours

Deep red, soft pink and cream, bright orange, and orange-pink with a golden centre: each rose bush brings its own colour.

Around the garden

Some grow as single bushes in the pebble beds, some sit next to snapdragons along the terrace, and others fill the bed under the round topiary trees with pink and red.

What I’ve learned so far

These roses don’t ask for much, just normal attention. They love sunshine and an outdoor spot. I water them regularly but not too much, and they need more water when the summer heat is high. I also trim the dead branches. So far, they haven’t needed any fertiliser or extra plant food to keep flowering.

Do you grow roses? I’d love to hear about your favourites. Feel free to get in touch.
